    I do like a nice red ...what about 650nm - 450mw perhaps?

    ive recently seen a home made a 1watt 635nm setup.

    I bet that is awesome a lone 635nm at 1 watt
    ....with a green I likes a 650nm , just my preference

    I am not an expert, but If you wanna use a red @671nm I think you need at least 800-900 mw (maybe 1 W).
    As you know 671nm is a wavelenght enought difficult to menage because human eye doesn't perceive it as good as 635 or 650nm.

    yeah, i love this sound track,, the hummmmm of the fans really does it for me..... I really need a 635nm or 650nm in the higher mW to make me happy,,,,

    Wow.... Those are some loud fans!

    Yeah, 671 nm is really far down on the response curve for the human eye. You need a *lot* more red if you're going to stick with 671nm...

    A hundred mw 635nm would be more than enough. Or around 400 mw of 658nm would do just as well. (You've got lots of extra green - your limiting factor is red, then blue.)
