Ok, since I've resurrected this old thread with nonsense, I'll try to put something pertinent in.. To go back to the orig topic of "poor-mans mounts" here's my p-mans diy cube mount that Ive had pretty fair results with- for those of you that like building your own stuff. The X-Y adjustments are that of an X (45 degree angular) rather than a + horizontal and vertical. Takes a bit of getting used to, but it's cheap and I think it works bte (better than expected)
    Thanks
    Steve
PS- sorry 'bout the fuzzy-fotos, but its the best I can do with my present el'cheapo camera setup :/

Yeah, I was able to hide the "missing corner" on the bottom and works perf-I appreciate it! Thanks for marking the cube, and the near and far field instructions/ drawings.. making this a fun project!

Well done Andy, your best effort yet.

A wee suggestion .You might want to think about making the metalwork none reflective with a matt black finish. Cuts down on surprise refections during allignment.
