Thanks to my impeccable timing, I have managed to turn my nice dual set of Maxyz 660's into little more than a bulky low-power pointer that probably wouldn't even get my cats excited...

All fixed!

When I got them, neither of them would register on my power meter, so they were doing 1mW or less. After replacing the diodes and changing a couple resistor values, they are doing 430mW after the cube.

I'm kind of in a hurry to get to the airport, but I thought I'd mention that it would be real neat if someone happened to have a 6/32" tap/bit pair and a drill at SELEM. (It's 1/4" Aluminum, so I could use a hand-drill if there's a good-sized C-clamp around.)

I lost the tap I bought the other day and I don't have time to go get one and still pack. (Why haven't I packed? You'll see.)

The last thing I need to do on my projector is mount the DT40 plate to the scanner riser with three 6/32" cap-screws. Anyway, not the end of the world if nobody has the tools. I'll cope.

The airport? Now? How long is it going to take you to get there? I plan on trying to wake up in 24 hours to get ready to leave... I hope between 2 and 4 am Friday. Just having the boss with me sets me back 2 hours.
