Ahhh... Feeling better now after a good night's sleep :-)

I was posting to PL from my phone in bed last night, so the messages were short.

We had an absolutely brilliant time and managed to link up the projectors using...

Initially, Pelosh's Kvant Matrix system running Fiesta. We then had to re-wire everything... Well, when I say 'we' I really mean Rob, Richard and a few other's. We then ran the link up again using Rob's Mamba system and his own shows (which were brilliant). Finally, we altered the wiring yet again and linked up to a QM2000.Net and ran a fair few of the Pango shows.

I know Rob was getting pretty frustrated at one point, but all the effort was all worthwhile i'm sure you'll agree. Thanks Rob, you're an absolute star, and I for one *really* appreciated your efforts to bring this together

Adam, i'm sorry I didn't get around to playing the 'Above' show before the link went down, maybe next time. I also apologise for the way we just disappeared 'off air', basically the laptop crashed again and I was getting to the stage where we needed to be thinking about packing up, so I decided to call it a day.

I think at one point we had 12 or so people watching, that made the effort well worthwhile, sorry you had to put up with Richard and myself doing a running commentary at times, particularly when our faces were on show

As I mentioned before though, in total we streamed live video for well over 4½ hours, with the longest uninterupted stetch being 3½ hours, not bad I think from my little HP notebook with intergrated webcam and mic and my mobile 3G dongle . Again, thanks must go to Dan for his expertise in setting up the software, I couldn't have done that in a million years!

It was great to see everyone again, hope to see everyone again soon

Well, apart from being likened to a C&W star by those Johnny Foreigners.

Luckily I was on hand to give Rob a big hug when he was getting frustrated (ooo-errrr) so it all turned out nice in the end.


I think the lesson learned this time was that we need more cables.
Lots more cables.

The best UKLEM I went to so far (YES, Rob's effort was almost endless). I'll try to put together short video and upload it in decent quality.
On the way back I stopped at Costa Cafe for double-presso which leaded into extremely weird experience on my way back...like really strong MDMA! I could not sleep whole night and felt really light and dizzy...at least I arrived in one piece!
I'll start with Metrix show preparations for next meet right now, but we need to agree on the number of projectors used..32?
