Got a link? Better yet, Got Sample?
Update, a friend has the blue into a "larger" fiber.

The low end stuff costs 245-350$ a meter. I need 10+ meters? Who's in? Donations accepted. Oh, pump diode too.

I know some one who needs this, lets see if he bites. 580 nm anyone?

ZBLAN can be pumped for upconversion in IR 850nm region too, so both blue, green and red can be available from IR.

    See attachment.

Hmmm, I've read that double-clad can be used for higher power (and spot) pumping but thought only for IR....

I got some double-clad (Pr/Yb) and regular (Tm) ZBLAN, I shoud experiment a little, but I'm unsure about the cavity mirrors.

Steve, in my imagination upon ZBLAN lasing at 630nm lecture I thought of using single 830-850nm 19-emitter laser bar coupled to 19 ZBLAN 1-2 feet long fibers with common OC at the other end .... lasing ... 10W of 630nm ?
