Yeah, kinda like the time your projector almost hit me in the eye from 3 feet away with 1.5W of 532nm at the Holiday inn. FYI, A GM20 was installed on Platinum's projector before SELEM 2010, I know, I was there....

I sent you a PM about it, but regarding your projector, you could pack it in a flight case and then check it as baggage on the plane. It would have to go in the cargo area, of course, and that means you'd have to wait at the terminal to retrieve it, but that's one way to get your projector here safely.

The other option is to box it up very carefully and then ship it via DHL or FedEx or something. But that's probably going to be very expensive. You'd probably be better off buying the flight case and taking it on the plane... (The airline might charge you a fee for having additional baggage, but I'm pretty sure it won't be more than $25 or so...)

Second: i'm still worried about the projectors alignment, airports like to throw with peoples precious stuff.

All of the South East laser enthousiasts will be there, lots of projectors.
I am sure they want to see your 3D Laser shizzle, since it's excellent.
I doubt it if there would be no one that wanted to share their projector ?

Saves you a lot of headaches of bringing your own projector, but is a lot easier.

Or will this visit be combined with your other US related activities ? ;-)

Very tempting MasterPJ , just as the ILDA Cruise sounds tempting too, but unfortunately Lady Luck hasn't been so nice to me financially last year, so i will only attend the UKLEMs and ofcourse as much as possible all Dutch LEMs (SpringLEM!).
