..and that's exactly why I personally wouldn't buy from you.

Any company that isn't happy to have its prices compared to other companies prices has something to hide in my book.

It is very regret that we don't have the chance to start the cooperation . This forum is not ebay, if we sell the lasers in ebay, I think I will offer the price in public

Man, you won't find ANY laser company that publy their price directly on their website or so. But the resellers will, more often.

Instead of comparing prices its better build customer/ dealer relationship. Probably you spend 100 dollars more on the laser you want purchased at your local dealer but when something is wrong then you will get a replacement in 1 day. In my opinon that is worth the extra few bucks. Imagine you have to do a paid show and your laser is not working. Loosing that client is more then 100 bucks.

Just ask where the local dealer is from Lasever

If they're selling direct then they should publish their direct prices. These aren't their trade prices after all but retail prices direct to the purchaser who chooses to buy from their factory shop. Otherwise how do you know if you're getting a good deal or if one person is being charged 1 rate and another another?

I agree Edison dealership relationship is of primary importance but that is based on trust on how can you trust a company that won't reveal its price to you for comparison with other vendors / dealers?

Yes price isn't the only factor when buying a laser, you may compare several and then decide to buy a more expensive one that the cheapest because you feel its better quality or better specc'ed than the cheapest.

However, to make that decision you need to look at all of your options including the price from the factory compared to resellers and if the company won't reveall that to you then how can you trust them? If you can't trust them on price how can you trust them on anything else?

To me any company that won't openly publish its selling price I won't deal with as the trust isn't there even with resellers. To me "enquire for prices" on a website = walk on by.

I understand your point. But just ask the current pricelist to Jolie and she will send it to you asap, and then you will know these prices

Exchange rates, parts, logistics, etc... change all of the time. I can understand not posting any price on a public forum. It would be nice if the manufacturer website posted prices, (I know CNI started to do that) but with a notice that prices are subject to change with no notice. If you email or PM for a current price list I am sure you will get one. But a set price for a certain module just for Photonlexicon set up as a group buy or PL members get a discount, might be a good promotional move....

Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.

You're right I just think it would be good to have a guideline list out there for rough consideration when building with an email for latest prices.

A PL discount code of additional discount would of course be great.
