The 3 above are my weaknesses. It's like time to smoke...... After sex is different. that's like time to sleep.

    I can cuddle while asleep.
When Quit Smoking ads appear on the TV and my wife coughs or makes a comment about quitting, I say "good idea, time for a smoke" and I go outside to have one.

I am trying to train her to quit nagging me!!!

Are we shooting lasers through vapors?

In all the years I have smoked, the 'taste' of a cigarette was just something that I learned
to tolerate to get a high from the nicotine, together with the appeal of the ritual... The two are inseparable. And let's not forget the comaradarie of others that do the same.

Well put. Two aspects to smoking, the addiction and the habit.

I am thinking of grabbing some worry beads to sort the habit and give my hands something to do.

I once gave up for 3 years. The addiction was easily sorted, and in fact can be broken in just a few weeks. The habit and ritual is the bugger to break...

    That chart is scary!

By the time I am 58 my chances of lung cancer will be back to normal? Hell, my father died of lung cancer when he was 42. I have already out-lived him by 5 years.

IDEA. If anyone here is seriously thinking of quitting, then why don't we form a PL support group, set a start date and just do it!!!!! Think of the additional laser parts we can afford without the burden of smoking $$$.

Do you smoke after sex? "I have never looked".
Same here. Going to quit soon though.

Which seems way harder without something to fall back on as I had "it" to fall back on when I quit smoking cigs. I am kinda here with ya Mike, but I don't think they make and electric version for mine. I don't think I could have quit the other way around as i have absolutely no desire to pick up a nicotine stick now.
They do make an electric version, as well as a non-electric version. It'll vaporize what you want, but not give you all of the nasties, like tar and the hydrocarbons that you *don't* want to be inhaling. It's called a vaporiser.
