    Hey Smog.

Looks like I'm free the weekend of the LEM, if there's room for a Wookie?

Would be nice to put faces to names...

Not got much to bring laser wise as I've not got one built yet... However, I own a bit of distro and cabling (upto 125A 3 phase)... A bit of PA (mostly old TurboSound)... and a few smoke / haze machines (Le Mairte G300's, Tour Hazer) if you'd like me to bring any of it along?

@Robotarmy :- Reading isn't exactly on my way, but I'll be heading up in a Merc Veto van (assuming there's a LEM space for me) I could swing by Reading if you want me to and you don't mind sharing the cockpit with a Wookie That is assuming the beast would fit in my Little Veto...
If in doubt... Give it a clout?

@ Ryan - Cool beans that man, you are the gasser factory ain't yer

@ The Wook - Everyone is welcome, well apart from maybe Taliban members and people of that ilk, you have indeed a place here waiting for you
Sound, power and haze is pretty much all sorted mate but thanks for offering. Although - Any BIG smoke/Haze generators are ALWAYS welcome for the outside stints, just to add that mood to the carpark during the Friday/Saturday evening laser off's

Hey guy's, there is even a lockable sliding gate across the front of the venue now!!! So when Con finally manages to get that box of Crunchy nut's up Briggs arse, no one local will hear him scream

@Jim Something like that, but i'm still on four argons. My next big laser project was going to be building a switch mode PSU for the two big ones, as I think with that I could have about 1.5 watts with that proper hot tube i got off Tony Aztec, maybe? The lasers haven't seen power since the last LEM since I don't have any 32A at the hackspace yet (still waiting on a quote) blahblahblah

Also, does anyone know anything about restoring the 'gold-box' look to ALC gear that's possibly been painted black? (wtf are these things, classic cars??!)

    Cool

I'll pack the G300's then... They should manage outside quite well assuming it's not blowing a gale!

As for the 'gold' look Ryan, I think it's gold anodising onto Ally but don't quote me on that. Matt or silk finish gold paint if all else fails.
I had the top and bottom plate on the 68's PSU shot blasted but it was done to harsh and distorted the plates
I ended up making new ones and painting them. Of course, Powder coating is the best way to go!
