I could set my FB3 to 120kpps in Beyond, but i wouldn't want to run my china scanners on that ;D

I believed that to be the case but didn't know for definite. I knew it had 6 colour channels and knew Beyond could do 120kps, but didn't know what the scan speed limit was in the FB3 itself. If it is 120kps, thats good news!

I had a conversation about scan size and scanner angle limits with reference to 100% size in the main control, but not FB3 scan speed capabilities.

All right!.. that's at least a good new. So it's software limited...

I might consider geting an update from QS to Beyond if that exist... paying for QS and Beyond is too much for me and the use i want to have with lasers projector.

There are various upgrade paths depending on the level of features you require.

Pangolin have some Christmas Offers on atm so could be a good time. Best contact Justin (at) Pangolin.com (anti-spam use correct @ no brackets) for Holiday pricing as I've only seen 1 deal and it doesn't tell you which Beyond version you're getting (I suspect intro).

Its slightly complex because I understand with Beyond atm you get ultimate but when Beyond 2.0 is released, you can keep the version of 1.0 you have but can only download the version of 2.0 you paid for. So eg if you pay for intro, I undertsand you get 1.0 Ultimate (which you can continue to use), but 2.0 intro when its available. There's nothing to stop you continue using 1.0, but if you choose to use 2.0, it will be the version you paid for.

Also, atm Pangolin are giving away free Akai APC40 midi consoles with QS > Beyond Upgrades.

you can increase the KPPS in quickshow to 60kpps actually.
There is a scanrate slider which you can turn up to 200% I believe.
    100% = 30kpps
    200% = 60kpps.
    It aint so difficult :b

Are you sure that works beyond the absolute limit of 30k?
I seem to remember having an email exchange with Bill (a long time ago...) about how dangerous to scanners that potentially was, and how easy it was to accidentally move it in some situations.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

He means the Chinese projector market e.g. most of the lasers in use in the US.

Pocket money control system for pocket money projectors.

Maybe.. but it doesn't work for me!.. over 100% the scanrate remain the same.

maybe it's in the seting that the scanrate is truly limited and can be unchanged...

    That is odd.
    What build/version do you have?

I believe the cue your trying to use has the fixed percentage in the scanrate of 100%
Try right clicking a cue and increasing the scanrate from there to 200%
    It should work.

Also the reason why I likely think they made it hard for you to surpass the scanspeed above 30kpps.
Is that most scanners shouldn't run higher then that, unexperienced people might just dial up their scanspeed and damage their scanners and with lacking scanner protection, potentially harm their audience.
But that is a different story right now.
