Power Switches

I'm looking for some rocker switches to connect to my power inlets on some lasers I'm building, but I am after something that would fit a round aperture rather than rectangular... Does anyone know if such a thing exists and if so, where I could get them? Preferably in the UK...
Simple reason is, it's easier to cut a round hole than a rectangular one, simples

can use a standard 19mm hole cutter and file out a bit ,dont use a 20mm hole cutter as they normally make the cut just over 20mm

I usually only switch the live on my lasers, although most of the rectangular type switches do allow you to connect live and neutral.

I worked for a electronic parts house after College. We stocked NTE products, who resold what you want.

The trick is knowing what to search for. Your keywords for search are "round housing rocker switch"
or "Automotive rocker switch" or "NTE round rocker"

NTE buys their stuff from a couple of vendors. Going down that road, start with the Cherry RR or SR Series. Arcolectric R13 also comes to mind. So does E-switch.

NTE 54-922, NTE 54-923 etc ......

i use a switch like that on my projector. got it from radio shack and wired up an inline fuse holder for it.

lights up red when plugged in, and switches to green when turned on.

Thanks gents for all the replies... It turns out that space is pretty limited on the back of my PJ's so might have to use the keyswitches instead...

Yeah Maplin sell them and they're pretty low profile too Mark.

Don't know how much room you have to play with but I've put them into small project boxes before which were stuffed with electronics. Many are no longer behind than a small key switch.

It's the diameter rather then the profile that's the issue... 20mm dia would be over flush with the top of the box and look a bit un-professional...

You could also, as I did, use a soft-start board like this one and then you can use the smallest switch you could find to power on/off the projector, because it will have to pass only 12V/1mA instead of the AC main
