    Default Buying: R-G-B laser combo

Doesn't have to be a complete projector system. Just a nice set of
red, green, and blue lasers.. with analog modulation.. power supplies..
all mounted to a plate with dichroics / beam combining optics (with
ability to adjust alignment, preferably). A total combined power of
1500+ mW would be nice. Matching beam profiles and low divergence
    are important. I don't want a fat, square 6mm x 6mm red beam with a
<2 mRad green beam, and a <1 mRad blue beam. I know, I don't want
    much, right?!

Anyway, throw your insanely ridiculous prices at me. I wanna see what
kind of money we're talking about here.

off the shelf Id look at the below. If you want me to put it on a metal plate for you add 100% to what ever the cost of the lasers is so I can build one for myself.

    eightonlight.cn
    Red 637nm 480mw Beam: 2.5*3.5mm mrad:1.0 $800ish
    Blue 445 1000mw Beam: 4x4mm mrad: 1.0 $300ish
    LS-XY003 optic mounts $25ush

    laserwave
    1w OEM-vs <.65 mrad $600ish

    man that's ugly.

bad color balance and no corrective optics, to boot.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

I did look on eBay. The prices are tempting. The build quality is horrid.
The problem with going the DIY route with separate lasers is that I'll
end up spending 10X what I originally intended. Perhaps that's just the
way it has to be in this hobby.

    Unnecessary quotes, I know, but.........

    (1) "You get what you pay for" ..

    and, of course ;

    (2) "If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself" ..

    (3) ..and, if (2) wont work, see (1) ..

And the one quote I like to try and tell myself......"It will be cheaper the longer you wait."
