I just had to go look at that for less than 500$ and considering its *supposed* to be analog modulated it looks interesting..

... but when i crtl+ so see a bigger pics and confirm that the green was the farthest from the scanners I noticed that the in the pics it has NO green module but two reds 638&650 but they are not cubed OR knife edged. No wonder the did not show pics of it running LOL I never knew there was a dichro mirror that passed red on one side and reflected on the other-- I learn something new nearly every day.

the attached pic is low res. and cant been enlarged to read the module labels- you would need to follow the link to see what I saw...(said the blind carpenter as he picked up his hammer and saw.)

so to end this post with a smile on a few faces??

What did Paris Hilton do when she met a guy named Ray??

    she blu-ray!

    I see a 445nm on the left & a 650nm on the right.
Can't read the label on the middle one in the back.
It *could* be green? Maybe. Though it certainly
    doesn't look very DPSS-ish.

Its also possible they merely put the wrong stickers
on the wrong lasers. The one on the right with the
large heatsink fins & cooling fan would seem to be
    the most likely 532nm candidate.

it's just a laser pointer core in a "heat sink".

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

maybe the pic I attached was not the one I enlarged as it is clearly labeled and even if it was by mistake that does not give me much assurance that they are a good place to buy from.

    Found this:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/RGB-5000MW-L...item3ccfd57688

Seems like a pretty good deal for 5,000 MegaWatts (!!!!!!)

Also comes in a 300 MegaWatt version.. in case you don't
need *quite* so much power as the other one..

Okay, but seriously.. honest opinion on this one?

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/3W-RGB-Laser...item19dcf5fa21

Besides the fact one of the red lasers is off, it runs off
220V AC (and 12V DC), and is only TTL modulation..

.. the lasers look like they are semi-decent?
