    Dimmers...
    Awesome.
Yes we've got 63A 3ph in the hall (I bought a proper 63A breaker, Jim fitted it, so it was "donated" to the hall for our use.)
I don't think my tranny is rated for that though (it's only a 12kVA from memory); but chances are it won't need the full 63A. Do you have any photos of the connections? Just so I can root out to see if I've any suitable connectors to bring. Also can you upload a photo of the power/voltage rating plate. That will give us a clue as to if it needs the step down tranny, or it can go straight onto the breaker.

Jim... was the socket you fitted 32A or 63A 3ph?

I'd be well up for spending a day trying to get that thing running.

If we do... this *must* be the first thing we engrave:

I was under the impression the socket was 63a 3phase.
I'll be bringing 20m of 63a3 cable, distro down to 32a3 & 32a1& 16a1 plus various cables and gubbins for all who need "heavy mains"
If you need different "flavours" shout as soon as you can so I can put it aside ready.
Hell, if need be, i can get a towable 100kva genny for the weekend to park outside from my mate for the cost of a few quid plus the derv!
If in doubt... Give it a clout?

I should be able to help you if it's linux based.. thats kinda my job.

I'm working on bringing a sever to hook up "webcams" to, then push the streams back to a dedicated server for all to view.

Reality is I'll probably be too tired to do any of it and just want to sip whisky, talk crap and get my photon fix! (Plus I won't be there till Saturday arvo I'd say)

I've got loads of Wifi gear / routerboards / switches / cat5 and etc so let me know if you need any bits to get it working.

    Sweet!

To be honest, I've not used it for some time so it's been sitting ominously in the corner of the dining room. I'll bring it anyway if you feel up to breaking it over a Jamesons

Sweet sounds good to me! Always up for a tinker. Obviously not over a Jamesons tho.. Filthy stuff.. made from Potatoes.

You have something to set the Yagi up on and point it in a semi-static manner ? otherwise we'll do a last minute call for a "tripod type stand" to Gaffer it to.
