Steve,
For you, There will need to be a contract signed three times in red ink and a substantial non-refundable deposit and only then I'll hint at a price.
Seriously, though the price WILL BE COMPETITIVE. The actual numbers depend on the set up. For example, if the interest is focused and narrow ie everyone wants one of "these" then I stock in a larger quantity, the shipping goes down and support components are amortized over a larger inventory. I want to test the units. Let us say the shipping or whatever is poor and I have a 20% "can't send these on" ratio. Then the prices will reflect this reality.
Everyone on this forum is smart. They can check out Goldenstar or Ultra Lasers for pricing in a few minuets. If the pricing isn't competitive you'll know it. The shipping, turn around and testing is worth something, but you can decide if it is worth enough. As you can see from my videos I work with lasers because I like it not because of the huge profit potential. If Laserwave wants to market more lasers they have an incentive to work with us to make their products more attractive and that includes price.

Ok, even if it were a used car, that might pretty much convince me.Anyone thinking about this, ask yourself: how easy will it be to do better? Got to bet it will be a lot harder than the value of any difference you'll find. I'm not in the US, but fortunately there IS a distributor in the UK I can go to if I want a Laserwave device. While I'm always a bit nervous when someone other than the maker is making any tests or changes to something I might buy, it beats a box-shifter who doesn't really know or care, especially if the guy we know of has shown competency. The guys we should worry about are the guys who might eventually buy these guys out.
I'd be open for one from the OEM-V, 532nm low mrad line.
Eric,
As an owner of several of their products, this is good news. There's a value-add here, that I believe is worth paying for. Who wants to purchase from or send items back to China, if there is a US alternative? I have no immediate need, but I wish you the best of luck and look forward to being a future customer.

Thanks for the encouragement. Regarding the need, I am not looking for committed buyers (although that is nice) , but if you think about it, what would be the type of Laserwave product you might buy in the future? This helps me to identify the best inventory and will save money down the line. I don't want to sit on some 15W monster green that no one will ever need. Everyone does things differently and so if I just go by my idea of what is useful it might be too atypical. Some people wouldn't consider buying a quad 445nm module. I mean" heck that's why bought the 20 hp CNC for gods sakes". Others don't want to get bogged down with the basic sub- components and want to get on with completing the projector in order to use it. If I can get a broad consensus then...less risk.I have no immediate need, but I wish you the best of luck and look forward to being a future customer.
Who are you thinking might be bought out? I get the humor, but are you thinking of Laserwave, distributors in general or me specifically? The guys we should worry about are the guys who might eventually buy these guys out.
