BTW, I also blame Adam, but in my case it's for the laser sickness.
There I was, asking some basic questions from a tent in Kuwait, and some dude named "buffo" chimes in and starts giving me all kinds of pointers and answers to questions I hadn't even thought to ask yet.
I linked up with him at a laser gig in NC shortly after I returned stateside, and it's been pretty much downhill ever since...

It has been interesting to see how the micro RC helis & quads have found a foothold at SELEM.
They'been a part of that scene since at least '09, and seem to be a bigger part of the attraction every year!
SELEM is going to need a bigger venue one of these days...

Someone needs to get it over with and fly a mini projector under one of these. That would be interesting to see at SELEM.
I'm happy to watch y'all fly 'em. After too many hobbies, I swore years ago that I would keep it only to lasers - even that is a bit over the top. I will admit that the prices are right - pretty impressive tech for what you spend.
