suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

I definitely wouldn't go with an etherdream dac for any type of programming. I tried to get some help from the guy for integration into Spaghetti and he doesn't even reply to emails.

J4cbo did not reply? He is the one who did the EtherDream along with Heroic. DrLava only does LSX he has nothing to do with the EtherDream.

And therein lies the fundamental issue with hobbyist solutions. I'm not knocking them for what they are, but go in with eyes open, and clear on what you can expect.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

yes. although even dedicated professional companies get busy and have to shift priorities away from what your needs may be.

For what it's worth, my last email to Pangolin was unanswered as well. Maybe it's me.

Although we have not "published" an "API", we indeed have an SDK for the FB3 and several professional clients are already using it right now. Some of the most impressive interactive laser games and museum installations use our FB3 SDK. They have chosen our hardware because it is professionally made using industrial electronic components.

Note that at this time the FB3 SDK is not "published". It is available under NDA. We are continuing to evolve this and at some point in the future, we may "publish" it like we have our longstanding LD2000 SDK.

I am in communication with MrM right now and discussing the details.

Setting this aside, BEYOND offers several other ways that programmers, near programmers, aspiring programmers and hobbyists can extend the capability of BEYOND. These include scripting, the universe, and external control with OSC (or using all of these together).

    Best regards,

    William Benner
