There is a big difference between what you said which is that is a mobile OS on a desktop and improvements being made to work better on tablets.

Heres one for y'all...
I got a phone call back form microsoft in regards to what happened to my laptop...
And they are going to send my a free copy of 8 and offered to try and recover data off the SSD. But then said that I should have never installed 10 on the ultrabook... I told them i didn't, it was upgrading its self...
So i guess I have to say this much, at least they are trying to make things right...So i have to give them props for that

That's good that they are helping you out how they can. I have been surprised by MS a few times. I had a problem with my Office365 website awhile back and one of the managers called me back and told me that if I ever had a problem again to contact him directly and he would make sure that I would get fast help.

I tried 10 using the original hard drive and Win 7 key that came with my laptop. I ditched that crap 2 days later. I have a part time job at a local computer repair shop. I hate working on anything with 8.x, 10, or Mac OS. I currently have Linux Mint installed on a spare machine to play around with. If MS keeps going in the crappy direction they're headed, I'll be saying goodbye to them.

I just was given a power mac G5 yesterday and even with just Snow leopard on it....its still faster then my win 8 server......lol
