Really? I assume (and this is a rhetorical question, not prying into your personal business.. you've Filed / Payed your Taxes? Why?? It's Voluntary, ya know? States-so right in the Tax-code. There is *so much* so-called "Freedom" in this country that is Just like in the 'purification' scene near the end of 'Braveheart'.. 'Confess, and you shall recieve mercy' (a 'quick' death by beheading.. not much of a 'good choice') ..Confess-Not, and you shall recieve your purification by Pain (then, it was torture, for Us, it's 'penalties', shut-offs, etc, and eventually, jail..) Yes, these are 'metaphors', but.. Can you see ALL the 'parallels' we suffer, here? I sure do..

At the end of the day it costs money to build stuff and allowing people to have razor knives on planes turned out to be a bad idea. If you want to hide behind the word "freedom" and expect that you should be able to wake up and lay on the beach all day then why not just do that. Lot's of people choose to be homeless and becoming a "living man". You can, too. But, if you expect to use things like government sponsored internet or expect to get on a plane with me you better expect to pay some taxes and yield to security. I knew going into this that there would be no point in entering this discussion. All I can say is that if you are feeling oppressed then why not do something about it? In your eyes what is worse? Me being perfectly happy with the system we have or you being pissed off that you have to feed the man? Life is too short to worry about it and too short for me to engage in this any further.

Wars - Im against all wars and against all use of military anywhere, and the thought of aggressing or killing someone churns my stomach. Thou shalt not kill comes to mind. As I read through your threads is is clear that you attribute most of your anger to the big bad government. You seem to see it is an external evil that is separable from the citizens that have enabled and now allow it. The concept is that if they would just wake up, they might be able to fix it. Why? And, how. You are by no means the first to see the corruption and it is widely known, yet there is not even a thousand man march on Washington. It might be invigorating to try to tear it down yourself, but you will almost certainly fail and you won't find enough like minded radicals out there to ACTUALLY get anything changed.

The heroes in Atlas Shrugged (I love that book) went the anarcho-capitalist/minimalist government route, but they only responded to the failing society that was based on dependency and socialist taking. They did not act to bring down the system. As long as the system creaked along they continued to participate. I feel the same way. If the system crashes I will likly survive and not in a sewer pipe out back, but there is still much to benefit from working with the system.

I disagree. I think this is the reason for Trump's and to a lesser extent Sander's popularity. The incredible, coordinated attacks by the media and the elites OF BOTH PARTIES are pulling back the curtains and this is why I so strongly support Trump. They are terrified of him and may yet stop him, but they are terrified and that is a very good thing. So...I'll say it.
