I too got a lot of 0k frames...You May have got this by now...but I'll put it out there for all:
Insure Maxwell Power button (far Left) is highlighted.
Get your animation running fiddling with the many knobs...not TOO complex or it will save too big to load (into QS for example).
    Highlight the ILDA record button
    Requestor opens up
Select where you want to save it...but don't hit the ok button! Name it whatever XXX.ild
Watch your animation to determine a good starting point...Then hit OK (you are now recording)
When animation repeats or you have a short sample...hit the Record button again to Stop the recording.
Go look where you recorded and view or load into your laser program and display.
Be amazed and create More and share!
    Thanks Bluefang!

Hey rodman thanks for your work flow but I too am having trouble recording to ILDA and would like to see a few abstracts run through my projector...any chance you could take the prefs file below and record a few of the scenes to .ild and repost them here?

    Thanks!

Number 1 was too complex and large to load into QS...2 thru 7 loaded...but don't display as well as in Maxwell on my china projector.
Hope the zipped file isn't too large.
Go back to my recording to .ild file post.

Hopefully you can get it to work...remember...not Too complex or will choke.

Information exchange? How do you save your creations to a prefs file?
I can save to .ild file...but, how do I save a creation so I can reload into Maxwell?

    BlueFang,

The APC40-Colorizer app has no effect for me. In fact, I can't get it to do anything at all.

Using the MIDI Monitor in Beyond, the top left clip launch button on the APC40 reports MIDI-in of:
    90 35 7F Note On
    80 35 7F Note Off

The button to the right reports 91 35 7F, while the button one down reports 90 36 7F.

I'm happy to help debug this further with you - either on this thread or PM me if you want to take it offline.

    Thanks for your software!

Thanks for the ild's...sorta what I expected...a bit complex for my setup as well.

To save a scene, hold down the shift key and click a blank square, when you let up the shift key it will turn yellow thus setting the current parameters to that scene location, repeat for multiple abstracts. Then you can save/reload those scenes to a .json file using the save and load buttons to the left.

Thanks...will try that soon...What kind of setup? Wondering how my LK-PD2 holds up.

Ok so, some of us are not as intelligent with this stuff as others. I finally have about a minute and a half to play with this. How to I get something to display in the primary preview window on the right? I can get the external preview window to display but, unless I use an external second monitor, I have to switch back and forth between windows since once you click on something in Maxwell, it puts the external preview window behind it. If I uncheck "External Preview" nothing shows up on the main preview window.
