It will be too bad if only a handful of these dongles exist. I was really hoping to get my hands on one. I could also see the dongle easily being sold as an add on to an already varianced projector. In my opinion WL should forget trying to get their projector US approved and focus on making the dongle easy to add new patterns and economical. Then try to broker a deal with X-Laser and/or Kvant to sell them at a wholesale rate.

to be honest if WL wants to sell projectors in the US they need to recall every illegal pointer they sold here
even then all the years they just ignored the us regs should disqualify them

Dongles are back and available world wide. Projectors just not in the US. Previous supporters should get an e-mail with a discount code that effectively eliminates the shipping cost. Make sure you use the same e-mail to buy it the second time around to get the discount code. Just ordered mine and buffo's a few minutes ago.

Actually this is good - same for me as I've wanted only the dongle - its now cheaper, as discount code for 25% off takes away the shipping, so now its just 100 bucks, less than on Indiegogo, yay!

Is the standalone dongle actually available? I couldn't manage to work out how to add to cart from the popout window on the WL site, but that may have been due to iOS mobile device.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

Yes it is available. There is a small mention of the dongle half way down the projector page. The word dongle is a link to the dongle page.

Yeah, it was a browser thing.

I'm now struggling to make an authorised payment to them, I've authorised 2 different bank cards buyt it keeps coming back with 'High risk' by their processing engine.

Is there any actual documentation available for the laser dock? I'm just impulse buying based on the video of the standalone sound to abstract stuff, but it looks like it may also function as a DAC for LSX, Spaghetti, etc
Is there a config app or something so that you can set up the standalone functionality, zone size, that sort of thing?

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
