any chance of working with this one in the days to come?

would make a very attractive combo

I have one on the way. I don't anticipate any difficulty in supporting this DAC.

do let us know, it will be great news!!!

I suppose the new etherdream 2 will be easy to support, too! ( it says same network protocol, driver, etc )

If I understand correctly, since the protocol is the same it should work right away without any changes needed

Just an idea, maybe not a new one.

How about the possibility to have an external modulation assignable to one of the oscillators somehow? I'm thinking primary on audio modulation but really any kind of external input would open up so many possibilities. Hook up an analog sequencer as an external modulation using the same timer source as music being played. I'm just letting some thoughts run wild here

It just hit me, that last part could be done with an analog CV to midi converter couldn't it?
You know, I have one simple request. And that is to have sharks with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads!

I have a question, can multiple instances of Maxwell be run at the same time pointing to different DACs?

It is not "intended" to run multiple instances of the app - and by that I mean that, no it officially is a single instance app.

    Update:

I think this might actually be possible (on OS X) - with a little bit of end-user hacking.

Contact me via PM if you would like to do some beta testing

OK....Just in the last week.... finally starting to learn Maxwell !!!!....and I repeat....

Dr. Edward Morbius: Nothing less. The number 10 raised almost literally to the power of infinity.

Yes....coupled with the EtherDream DAC..... Maxwell IS "Abstractonomical"
    .....
And YES Mr. Groover.....Connect Maxwell....to an Audio input...via Analog CV audio to Midi Converter....then....just sit back....and...ZONE OUT..... Let the music generate the patterns !!! " Hat's Off " to Timothy Leary !!! BTY...NOT endorsing drugs of any kind !!.....Maxwell is a major Alpha Wave generator by itself !!!!
    .
Note....Anyone try to couple Maxwell with a Korg Minilogue yet ???

    Beam Out...Thanx BF !!!!!

Ordered my copy yesterday to give my etherdream something to do. Had some issues getting it going on my old win 7 box, but got some patterns out of it finally... good fun!

What's an analog to midi converter do?
