To be fair, the man won fair and square let's let him take office before the fear mongering continues and see if it's justified. Might be one of the best presidents we ever have.

They say it's Americas Brexit, but Brexit is very different as May is promising more help for the poor and more equality. From what I've heard, rightly or wrongly, it appears Trump favours the opposite.
I agree, but think it is even more dire. I was just reading through the amendments to the constitution and listing the things that Donald has attacked in some form. Freedom of speech, freedom of the press, religious freedom, rights of individuals to not be unreasonably searched or property seized. . and the list goes on. He will now have nearly unchecked power with control or significant influence over all branches of government and the military. We no longer have checks and balances, we have a dictator in chief who is friendly to Russia. Who thinks Putin won't be in Latvia, Lithuania and/or Estonia within the year? Seventy years of fighting and winning the Cold War gone in a flash along with many of the freedoms that our forefathers held most precious. All men (and women) will no longer equal in our country. But on the bright side, you can see naked photos of the First Lady whenever you'd like. Maybe someday she will learn to speak intelligible English at some point too. Someone please save us from ourselves!

He's sounding more conciliatory today so lets hope the reports of an itchy trigger finger were just rumours from opponents.

As for coming to the UK, forget it. I can't find the article but according to 1 paper, there's only place in the UK remote enough to escape the thermal blast from a nuke and that's remote place on the Western Coast of Northumberland. Everywhere else in the UK is unsafe including Scotland and the islands around. Even then, in the one safe place, you're going to get a lot of fallout.

I reckon the safest place has to be the Southern Hemisphere, probably Aus or some remote Pacific Island (but not Hawaii obviously!).

Back at the beginning of the year, I was hoping to get a Republican back in the White House but I sure didn't expect it to be this way...
I just hope and pray Trump doesn't do anything rash or stupid.

Had hoped the "RUSSIA BAD" would stop after the election, we'll see. I'm hoping a Trump presidency will improve US-Russia relations, that'd be good for everyone IMO. Putin seems up for it: http://www.reuters.com/article/usa-e...USR4N1D800D?c?

Well done to everyone that voted. I figured it'd be a Hillary win, although a narrow one. Guess we can blame the media bias.

I was surprised this morning to find that Trump actually won
    the USA elections.
I AM glad that crooked Hilary didn't get in... Don't trust
her as far as i can spit.
I hope the Russian relations will be a good thing with Trump at
the helm... Good luck to the USA.

I think we've just entered the most dangerous time since the Cuban crisis. I'd take a president with scandal over a possible itchy trigger finger any day.

That aside, isn't the world is also stuffed from an eco point of view because wasn't one of his pledges to abandon all climate controls?

I have a feeling those who voted for him may regret it.
The Remainers probably hope we do. Maybe they can get a petition going to nullify the election?

I think we just avoided the most dangerous time since the Cuban missile crisis. Hillary is a physically unsteady, dishonest, cheat who kept poking Putin in the eye. Climate controls? CLIMATE CONTROLS?!!! Enough with the socialistic, globalist drive to control every aspect of the lives of hundreds of millions of people by elitists who enrich themselves in the process. It is time to push back against this encroachment.

ack at the beginning of the year, I was hoping to get a Republican back in the White House but I sure didn't expect it to be this way...

I am almost as glad it wasn't anyone of the other Republican candidates as I am thankful it wasn't Clinton. They all would have quickly morphed into various versions of GW Bush II. Big government with the Dems in charge is about as bad as with the Rinos in charge.

    I agree with your prayer.

Maybe... for the good of the country, I wish Trump well. Still a little nervous, though.

Oh wait, I forgot to mention- Go Browns! Oh and 9... shall we go for 10?

No, if the genie is let out of the bottle, North Korea will take out Australia for sure.
