This looks amazing if it works as shown.
The person that developed this is rather well known.
    She generally doesn't bullshit.

Sorry, the game is not "holographic" in any way. Just more marketing bullshit to sell something that falls short.

That’s why I said 3D VR. Plus now I find out it’s not even a real product yet. Oh well. Looked exciting.
Jeri has made some pretty cool stuff over the years. I hope she gets this one done.

Looks interesting but not exciting. The game shown does not look interesting at all.
    Who is Jeri?

... I'm expecting some more usefull/exciting developments in the next time around AR - actually magicleap and leapmotion/ultraleap are good candidates

I'm actually using the leapmotion sensors as "stereo-cameras" for a project -- not too expensive and fast enough for my needs

VR interests me but I have yet to see a great implementation. Hololens we use at work is pretty good but has room to grow.

... one of my first ideas about application with VR/AR equipment and force-feedback-gloves (around 1988 pretty expensive or pure DIY) was some sort of "construction-toolbox".

First start with "atomic" dimensions, where you assemble molecules from atoms by placing them one by one and a simulator "snaps" them together into right place/distance.

If you have some/enough preassembled molecules, then start combinig them ...

... with bigger molecules size, "zoom" the dimension out, so you can start "lego-like" construction with macro-molecules or mechanical macros ...

... and so forth, until you'll get "midi" and "meso" sizes for "real-life" parts, assemled form macros<-molecules<-atoms

I think "VR" reality would be something interesting. Being able to interact with real people that looked like real people (not cartoons). It would be an interesting way to meet people around the world. But, considering how all the chatrooms went you know it would be full of bots wanted you to take them back to their place for money. So, probably wouldn't work. Or would it... hmmm.
