hey george-

yeah, randy boyer is from here in CT. (hartford area,) and i have known him for YEEARS. got close with him when he began touring around more and doing more clubs. he is WAAAAAY beyond me now! lol. his producing is and has been some of my favorite. he (IMO) stays cutting edge and seems to start some of his own styles. when eric passed away, yeah it was pretty tough. him and eric did GREAT work together. i only had the pleasure of meeting eric once or twice while doing a Laser show with randy.

Randy himself actually hires me to do some shows with him (laser shows). hes a great guy. and although i feel tiesto is gettin kinda "Cheezy," for him to contact you and say, "Hey Randy, mind if i use your stemcell song on my DVD i am producing..." i think THAT kinda gives you a hint on the fact that, I'VE MADE IT!!

yes, this "show" is VEEERY simple and not a good representation of a "Laser Light Show!" its simply, play great hi nrg music and shoot really bright laser beams around. lol.

ill be honest with ya, this venue shouldnt even have a laser in it. place is pretty small and too many accessible areas where beams go. so, i just blind and burn people to get them out of the area!!

i cant tell you how many times that emergency shutter switch gets hit at this place. girls dance on speakers...LASER OFF. people open curtain in VIP area....LASER OFF. itsd a pain in the ASS.

BUT....they all love the show! thats all that counts right??

HAHAHA!

No chance of that. My wife has me on permanent lock-down. I can't even get up to re-fill my glass with orange juice! She yelled at me earlier when I tried to bend down to pick up a magazine I dropped. "No bending" she shouted! Sheesh...

But I suppose she's right. Need to take it easy until I'm sure everything is going to be OK. But I feel like an invalid.

So I'm sitting here tapping my fingers to the beat while I read... Pretty good mix you got there buddy. I'm already thinking about how to play with LivePro to do a laser show to it!

EDIT: HEY! About 45 minutes into the mix, the song that comes on (with sort of an Indian-Asian market bazaar vibe...) suddenly reminds me of Soforene's current frenetic Indian avatar! Is that wrong?
