    I have measured:

    350mw @ 635nm
    330mw @ 532nm
    300mw @ 473nm

You can see how white it is in my avatar.. If anything, I had to dial back the red a bit..

Loopee, I'm very impressed by your white and colour balance overall. Red looks darker than I was expecting from the other thread but that could just be the camera and saturation I suppose.

    Mark.

Are the photo's of your projector really the same as real life?
I have photo's of a small cheap projector showing a yellowish white beam.
The beam is white on the photo because the maximum hightone value is reached (255 on the cam) so the beam is blownout white.

You have some nice power levels

That's a fair point, but I am an honest geezer

It does look that white in real life, it has been to every UKLEM so I am sure someone will back me up...

Mind you, I would love one of those Jenlas units Hugo has...

wuahahaahaha Mark.. you don't need backup :-)

    Nice pictures.. and nice setup!
    Looks great on the photo's!!!!

and yes... we all love to have a JENLAS unit that hugo uses :-)
or i won't mind having one of those OPSL lasers he also seem to use...
I am a hobbyist... maybe you also.... so we don't have the budget or the justified use of such unit.

You have your own MARKLAS unit right there!!

And if I had a Jenlas, I would want a Death Star laser and so it goes on.. That's the thing with this hobby, we all want more power !!!! And more power means more cash, but hey, it's worth every last penny...

Back to the original topic... 635's tend to have horrible fat diverging beams... I like the look of the Medialas 637's and Kvant 640's, a bit pricey but almost DPSS quality beams..
