Hope this is not to optamistic but I've booked Monday 2nd March off from work so that my time at the meet is not limited by having to go home early on Sunday.

Big thumbs up to Mark Fluff for taking care of sorting the venue

As things are starting to look sorted for the date and the venue is it safe to start think about the raffle numbers?

    Question

    Guys,
Howsabout we try to get a bit more organised at the forthcoming meet and try and link up some projectors to run some shows "en masse"?
Whilst the "just turn up and blast some lasers" ethos is fun, surely we could increase the WW factor by actually linking gear up and making "an event".

We all spend thousands of pounds on our stuff and get the chance to play our own shows at home but how often do we get the opportunity to be a part of something bigger, something combined where the sum of our parts comes together to create something that we could never do at home on our own !

It doesn't have to take over the entire meet, just an hour or two.

Let's show them damn yankees how to do it !

    Whaddya say ?

    I couldn't agree more !!!!!

I spoke to a couple of people about this at UKLEM 3 narf...

The venue is nice and big with an ideal stage. I have a 10' trussing I can bring along...

I think it would look great to set the stage up as if we were doing an event... Granted it won't be quite to Hugo's standards, but we could pull off something pretty damned good...

We could link as many together as we could and run one of the pango shows and when we get bored of that, we could do live shows off of multiple controllers...

    Ohhh the gears are turning...

BTW: Big thanks to Rob and Fluff for sorting the venue out again...
