Awsome photo's Andy, but the two or three night shots realy could have done with some multicoloured beams in them.

In the shot of the star's how long was the shutter open for?

Those are fruit bats in the picture. The bat you are thinking of is here. (And, arguably, here as well.) They're also a lot smaller than a fruit bat!
