as far as burning in lasers, the only limit is I have one knife switch which will be on a 60 amp or so breaker. Running two at a time might be a problem unless someone else brings another knife switch with tails to tie into panel. Running your laser straight for 8 hours would not burn off hardly any tube volts, it will clean up the gas a bit but it wont bring TV down in that short of a time. I have more garden hose than home depot, just make sure your fittings and connections are solid Site A is 5 minutes from home depot site b is 20 minutes.

I am terible at guessing distances but my best guess is...

Site A is an industrial space, vacant which has about a 30 x 100??? foot throw that is site A. Site A is not 100% yet Site b is a storage warehouse about 20 x 80 or so i dont know which has construction tools and crap stored in them. think of these places as just your basic 12 foot roll up door type places. My buddy has the keys to site a but not the owners approvial YET, site b is less desirable but slam dunk, we will know which one monday or tuesday. I have one other idea but it has low ceilings.

The hard part was finding three phase and water, that was the criteria. I mean hells bells...the cobra only needs 220v single phase at 40 amps and no water to make 50 watts

Both places have access to Broadband cable. site a easy, site b easier

I mean its no problem, I would not want to run all night uncase somthin go boom and water flow all night, but the power and the water are free so I say burn em!!! I am thinking of building up my 168 also. Believe it or not I have a new white light PT that has never seen the inside of a laser and it is about 14 years old more on that story laterbut I have no optics for it, might just shove it in to see if it will light

The PT was given to me brand new from service stock for a laser show I did for SP...I had so many other ones i never ran it it is still in the same box it was given to me...it will blow your mind pristine, perfect, and flawless. anybody ahve a spare set of white light optics I can test her with????

I just hope it is not dead from sitting so long

Erg! I wish I did but we really need an argon and krypton to recreate that picture .

Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.

Well I am getting ready to go, I will have to actually put my little projector together (still wish I had a drill press). I may be coming over solo, Lasernerd threatening to flake out , good thing I have another place to stay just in case! This will be my last chance to make it to a West Coast LEM before I move to New Mexico in two weeks!

I already have my oh-shit-kit pretty much filled, I had to add in all the ion laser extras like extra o-rings for hoses, Teflon tape... I checked in today and we will have plenty of nice malty beverage (for free as in the cost of a bag of grain).
