    Sounds about right.
So that'll be 20 Kvants and don't worry about the other 12 as we'll sort those out.

BTW I found an orphaned ILDA lead in my bag of leads this morning.
I have all mine marked but this one's a Manhatten 2 metre lead without a name so if you are a lead short then shout out and I'll bring it along to Surfleet for collection.

I dunno...you are all light-weights...UKLEM contiuned til 1am this morning. After leaving the venue at 9:40 Dimitri and I went for a coffee and a quick Mamba crash course in the Campanile lobby and the coffee turned into two and we chatted lasers till 1am. (note how I chose my words carefully and avoided saying anything about going back to his hotel with him....) Arrived home at 2:50 am.
Great day as ever more lasers more lasers.
    Sorry for getting ratty chaps.
Well done for everyone for attending and making it a success - three cheers for Spec for bringing us all together hip hip....
Thanx for all the door prize donations
Prize contributers in no particular order were....
Mark, Laser-wave, Richard, Andy, Dimitri, Martin. Thank you all for supporting us - more than half of us won a prize!!!

roll on Surfleet...might just have enough time to get my jobs done

Would that be a 2m cable in hearing aid beige? If so mine evaporated from front left stage
Hope to make it to Surfleet to reclaim
    Cheers,

Lasers and beer don't mix. After 2 beers I lose coherence.

Well done guys. It was fun to tune in for the live broadcast. Jeremy and Richard did a great job of filling us all in on what was going on. (Actually, the running commentary was kinda cool. And it's certainly faster to just speak to the camera rather than trying to type out a reply in the chat window!)

I didn't see much of Rob this time around, but now I know why. Evidently he was the wiring troubleshooter for this event. (At one point, I saw him actually RUNNING across the venue. Must have been hectic as hell!) Still, good job to link up so many projectors!

I'm looking into a buffered ILDA box myself. Thinking about maybe a 1 x 10 unit - maybe a pair of them even - to use at future LEMs over here. Working with DZ to flesh out the idea. But that's the key: getting multiple units going at the same time. You guys really knocked one out of the park with 21 projectors! The video was awesome.

Thanks for all the effort that went into the live broadcast. We sure appreciate it!

Take a look at one of the *LASERWORLD* ones, they didn't work of course, but it looked kinda neat

Running commentary... Had to smile... a Yorkshireman and a Brummie, how you made sense of that i'll never know

Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.

Just so we all know whats going on I have made a donation to PL of $82 which is equivalent to the £50 we had left over from the subs collection after paying for the venue.
thanks again to all who came along
