I can get us a venue in Lichfield Staffordshire subject to availability. There is a direct train that goes from London to Lichfield too. The venue is the size of a small sports hall and has a stage. It would be free to use it but it is in our Church building so there are a few no no's. We can't drink alcohol in the building or on the grounds but there is a pub 2 mins up the road, and a chippy, chinese take away, and a Tesco mini store, and we can't drink tea or coffee. This is because of certain beliefs we have about drinking those things so in respect of those beliefs we can't drink those things in the building. But it does have clean toilets. Anyway it's there as an option. Just let me know if you want me to look into available dates? I may even be able to get us a public audience for the Saturday evening?

I completely agree about the 'public' business, that would truly go against what these meets are about.
It would open a massive can of worms and what exactly would be the point anyway?

Leicester & Surfleet are ideal venue's and the Club Ice venue sounds good too. How much further is Club Ice to being a goer???

The problem that will arise is that if we have too many meets per year it will, for me anyway, take away the excitement of having to wait the 3-4 months between them and having the time in between the meets to design, build, make good our new equipment to be ready.

My shout it to stick to the venues we have with the addition of Club Ice, if possible.

I am sure there will be a Leicester meet announced very soon.

I hope so, can't wait to come over and visit the UK again.
Had lots of fun, this time i hope to stay a little longer.
When can we expect a date ? This because i have to take days off from work, the sooner i announce , the better !
