Could it be on these galvos that red and black and signal and the white is ground?
Also, turn off s/pdif output in the Cmedia control panel.
umm.. referring back to the tutorial, the galvo channels are ch 1-2.. so you'd want
1 Red
G Black
2 Red
G Black..
The way you have it hooked up right now, your galvos are getting blanking and intensity signals.
Also, I do remember hearing something funky about the way that SP20s are wired.. Dave would be the man to ask about that, though.
The seller instructed me to wire it how I have it, which is 5 and 6 to red and black to G
He didn't follow the tutorial, because he had wired them this way before the tutorial was made.
I'll try hooking them up to 1 and 2 instead. brb
hmm.. If Mariomaster wired his differently, then I have no idea how to help.. Have you contacted him about this?
I also have mine wired with the correction amp channel assignments in reverse of the tutorial. This is how we had been building them before it was posted.
But the channel assignments of the correction amp is less critical than the assignments on the audio card. After that, everything just feeds straight through. He should open up the audio card box and see if the x and y signals go to the caps relevant to the blue audio channel, right next to the s/pdif connector.
hmm, I see. I was unaware of that.. That is true, though.. the connections from the sound card to the amp are key.
The wire from the blue audio channel is connected to input pin 6, and the green audio channel is connected to input pin 5. One thing I did notice, is that I have far less bars in my "mixer" tab of the USB control panel. I'm going to try re-installing your driver again.
edit:
re-install didn't change it, here's what my mixer tab looks like:

How are you re-installing the cmedia driver? You should right click 'my computer' then click 'manage' go to device manager, find the usb sound card and right click then choose Uninstall. Alternately you could choose update driver, No Windows Update, Install from a specific location, Don't search, I will choose the driver to install, and specify the driver posted in the tutorial.
When I go to my start menu, it has a folder called "USB Multi-Channel Audio Device", and it has application that Uninstalls the driver. Then I would re-boot and run the driver setup again.
I just tried what you said, going into device manager and updating the driver to the one posted in the tutorial, and it said that driver was already installed. I still only have the two bars in the Mixer tab.
Should I not even try using Windows 7 32-bit? For some reason, my XP disc won't install on my laptop. It keeps saying that there are no HDs detected. I'll try to get my hands on another disk that I can use my serial with.
