it is possible you missed the meaning of "then copy it" I was referring to everybody having a design that everyone thinks is best...I will let everyone figure it out then make the mount or "thing" to hold the solution. Generally as a rule...i do mechanics not glass...too many variables as we see.

Swisslassdid tests and got beter results with prisms
My own test with a prism pair was very promising.

Multiple people told me the cylindrical lenses solution is better but I have not seen a working set up to this time.

When do you have a working setup, so we can just compare both solution and go ahead with the best solution.

This was tested at 500mW, but at 500mW the full emitter is used, so I expect so.

It will have the capability of running two didoes. Even then, a TEC may not be 100% necessary, but if your optical baseplate gets up to 35-40c during operation, a TEC is a nice addition to keep the diode at 20 and operating at full brightness.
