What i was saying in dutch:
Ever looked in a fuse box?
Specific rooms/sockets are hooked up to a different group.
What they are trying to explain to you is that you have to keep light and sound seperated on 2 different groups.
So make sure you have a long power extension courd and do so

Depending on the location the room might not or will be on a different group
exactly what i tried to say. lots of fuse box connections ect there.

No worries, I have this feeling constantly at the university.

"Unk? What's the prof saying? And I thought I understood light and waves and the like!"

To the public it was one big win. To me it was one big fail.Half way the projector froze, so i quit the music...kids laughing at me... After 5minutes it worked again so i turned on the music and laser again...but the whole blue diode quit...never had this before...and the blue was supposed to give the most spectacular effect.Im sad...i guess it matters the most that the public is happy. But i worked 3 weeks on this and didnt get much sleep and then get a fail like this..

Sorry to hear that your blue died, glad it went well enough for the audience.
How exactly do you mean projector froze?
    the software right?
Also about the not getting much sleep: your not the only one, your talking to a person right now that go's to bed at mostly around 5AM

That sucks mate. I know that feeling.
I guess it's a rule, the more work you put into it, the more epic the fail. Like that one time I did a complete show with music and a lightshow and lasers and everything, and Windows crashed. Or all those times I arrived two hours before an event at the location and had to quickly set up everything, and all worked perfect the whole night.

Well, can you trace the fault with the blue? Can you determine why your projector froze? Can you learn from what went wrong and make sure it doesn't happen again? 'Cause that's the most important thing.
But as long as the audience is happy you should be happy too. After all they don't know how good the show was supposed to be.

I have no idea why the blue did this to me. About the freeze...it sometimes does this randomly(about 3 times per day) i think windows is to blame for that. And happens guaranteed when using the fogger. I think it freezed when i used the fogger. While it was connected to a other fuse box.I want to throw that fogger in the garbage can.I didnt have this much sadness since my ex gf...At least the compliments and jawdrops make me a bit happier.

Three times a DAY?!? Sounds like you got a PC problem. The last PC I built would freeze or reboot two or three times a week and I went and bought a cheap Dell desktop as a new laser PC because even two or three times a week is too much to trust running a projector on.

What controller are you using? You got a problem somewhere and I would not have felt safe doing a show like this until I had resolved it fully. It just isn't save to do a show with an unstable system no matter what it at fault.
