I have an idea how this could work. I'm running out the door for work but will send a few of you PM's later this morning.

Welcome to PL Frank; nice lot you got for sale. I think if you had provided an introduction thread highlighting some of your laser history before posting this For sale thread some of us would be less skeptical. Also, had you looked around the forum a bit you'd see DZ is a highly respected member of the forum with a good deal of experience with most if not all the equipment you are selling. You would also have seen some of the BS for sale threads posted recently that make skeptisism like DZ's nessecary sometimes. If you knew DZ personally you'd not only let him in your house you'd let him house sit for you...

Again, welcome to PL; that Reliant would look nice at my house.

I have ALWAYS stood for integrity in the laser display industry. I fought for standardization, ethics and the improvement of the reputation of laser displays given the rogue operators out there.

Quite frankly, I'm not sure you, with your attitude, would be welcome in my home to demonstrate the system I have for sale. I am perfectly content to wait for someone with a more reasonable temperament.

Dude, chill out. Prior to this post you were an unknown person posting the perfect old shcool laser setup. Not having a clue who you were, wouldn't you have been a bit skeptical?

Very well, I'll spend my money elsewhere...

Aaron, you get in ahead of me talk to Brad if you have cash in hand.

Any chance we can get a list of shows, I am hoping there are some Firstlight Laser (Mike Dunn) shows. If you get a chance when you get back I would love to see a video of it fired up to make sure the tube has not gone high pressure.

I knew Frank and Kelly two decades ago. Good people.
Welcome to PL Frank, sorry you got such a nasty start.

Yes, welcome to PL , it's absolutely wonderful that we're getting some more of the 'old school' professionals here. Sorry, didn't mean to label *you* as old, just that you've obviously been in the industry a long time

I figure we've an awful lot to learn from people such as yourself, and I for one would be *really* interested in seeing any pictures you have from when this stuff was active. It's a pity i'm in the UK as the stuff you're selling looks absolutely awesome, i'm sure you'll have no problem selling it here.

Again, welcome to PL and please stay around a while after you've sold the gear, it would be great to hear some stories and see some pictures.

    Kind regards

    Jem

O no you don't... Trying to get me in trouble with the boss huh? She'd smack me for even thinking about buying ANYTHING laser related right now. I was just commenting that it would look good at my house.

You buy that lil beasty and I'll store it for you at my house...

    Thumbs up

    Hey Sir Frank -

Beautiful kit.. Yes, if this has trouble moving, let me know, as-well... have an installation that this might be very useful-for, at least, in-part.. could always use the LP 300 for 'studio werk / programming'...

Huge fan of the 'old-school'.. in fact, such a huge fan, my Co. has taken-over the Laserium-legacy, and is working on carrying the torch-forward.. Oi, what a yoke, tho... ..but one with satisfying-results, albeit pretty-much profitless.. 'it's an art-thang'..

I'll tell Ivan you said 'hi'...
    cheers.

Thanks Smoggy ... I like people who are courteous. I do understand though. It looks like a pretty tight-knit community here. I remember walking into ILDA back-in-da-day when it was dominated by big laser companies. They hated the idea of letting a newbie in. But we brought new blood, fresh ideas and a demand that there be standardization so we could promote the growth if the industry.

People have a way of coming 'round when they see you are right and others are listening.

Strange thing here ... I'm getting reacquainted with some people I have known in the past. Love that ... but hate that it's igniting that laser spark again ... now I'm just wanting to shut off the lights and lase the wall.
