ATM I am hoping to ride to SELEM wih Rick & wife(hitevoop) leaving from Dallas-
And hopefully staying for LSO if I can find the funds.. I had mentioned to Rick about the other spot in his car and sugeek- it is not my place to invite but I do hope for another rider to further cut gas costs- ATM what I have heard from sugeek does not sound very good- time off from work and $$ prolly the two main issues.
so all that said-- if Rick does not have someone in mind perhaps another from that part of Tx could at least be in touch with Rick about our carpool,,

.as far as any efforts on my part in getting anyone to attend as a guest on anyone else's dime( NEVER wanted any funds taken from SELEM ever) that is no longer being looked at by me- I have not asked anyone about coming as a guest(this year) and will not..

My concerns are only about getting hak there and back and the LSO...

If a volunteer is needed to bring a analog rgb that is almost completely built i DO want to volunteer mine--PLEASE pick me-- please..

Again like other years I hope to bring some very nice items for the prize pool comp. of ( DR Chuck) AixiZ Lasers Houston( & a few from me)- ALSO should any attendee need ANY items sold by AixiZ.com please send me your list- i will pick your items up --I will get you the forum members/cash in hand discount and hand deliver to you at SELEM- cash or personal checks upon delivery.. I am now a distrubitor(somewhat unofficial) also for Lasever- CantonLaserphoto(quite nice and low cost scanner sets)and LaserKing.

For those who do not know-- new member 'BOOM' is Jeff K.= aka FlaminPyro-
I wrote about him earlier- he tells me today that he WILL be bringing two versions of his White Fusion Time Machine- afaik the same as Austin (mr.) Willing brought to SELEM 2010 and got him the medal for smallest laser projector- he displayed one ( six hrs non stop) at NWLEM and won a award for it there.

Jeff will also be bringing a newer version that has (wired iirc) remote control WFTM- these are incredibly small and contain a spiro. See the pics in FP's sig at the pointy forum.. sweet!!-- basically these are NFS as Jeff has a long list on backorder already..

Any needs from AixiZ need to be arranged before the end of July- items form the other companies need to be arranged much sooner..

Looking fwd to meeting again with old friends and new ones too..

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

    Ethan,

Please bring your Amiga/Pangolin gear to SELEM, that was really cool to see the old stuff again.

Agreed. I think that would be awesome to have setup backstage so people could see where we started from and how far we've come...

Ok, so if I can scrape together the registration, and if someone will let me sleep on their floor, it is my intention to attend SELEM this year, which I really missed last year, and I might even have an almost fully assembled projector with me! However, those are two pretty big "ifs". Keep your fingers crossed. Oh, and if anyone has an extra floor... :-)

Edit: If I am able to attend, I will be happy to make some of my dark chocolate espresso cookies for everyone to try, and I could even make a special batch as a door prize... I know it isn't as illustrious as some of the other door prizes, but swamidog will tell you: they are delicious! They are especially good a few minutes after they come out of the oven. This is, of course, if Hakzaw will let me in the kitchen! :-)
