You're only young once, but you can be immature forever.

I vote for what laserist said Germaine Greer said.
Roj, the CS42448 spec does indeed state that any of the 8 DAC differential output channels may be used single-ended. That could eliminate one TL084 and 8 10K 1% resistors. It may be worth considering at that.
Have you been sleeping?

The second build of the multabela ilda harness goes well enough. Seen in the photo is the portable juke configuration that provides four ilda outs plus audio. It seems a bit of a suitcase synthi vibe. Bringing up the section for inputs from generators and joysticks is next, so don't worry, there will be more wires.
Two mistakes in the PCB so far. First is miniscule footprints for the headers to the power rails. Second is the ilda ports mapped backward so those right angle db25 connectors that would have sat so nicely on the card edge are now flying in the air on wires.
Looks great Greg. Job well done.
If one considers faithfully restoring vintage LII content using small footprint modern solutions old hat, then here's one novel thing. I have added the 3D to 2D projection formula independently to each channel. The first experiment uses the spiral ramp as a Z axis input, and the results are already looking similar to legacy SAGE content. I feel like I'm looking at a frontier, there are so many possibilities.

It would be helpful to know of a number that definitely involved the ramp and KQO frequencies working together. I expected Bolero from Crystal Odyssey, to be the one, but no. spiral is enabled, which means KQO is available. But the spiral ramp is not enabled at all in the number.
The other news is the completion of the first multabela ilda harness PCB including all the inputs and outputs to the 6b image generators.
Here is a tale from a topographic ocean:
Here is a photo of two completed systems: one in dev configuration and one in portable jukebox configuration. The +-15V PS is visible sitting on the jukebox main board.
