    In English:

Even with the same chipset have 90% of all other GLCD pin assignments.
Partly GLCD tested, there was a square in the ad is no longer square.
As you can see from the photo from Maurice, I can make an extra adapter board for the GLCD.
Thus it is no cable clutter.

And why should I deliver firmware without hardware?

    Firmware:
    No LCD 15K + bootloader encrypted ;-)
    LCD 18K + bootloader encrypted ;-)
    GLCD> 25K + bootloader encrypted ;-)

Each safety has its own number and a EEprom marker for the display properties.

I do not understand why I should write extra software just because someone says at the LCD / GLCD to be able to save $ 15.

The Health and Safety Act 1971

Recklessly interfering with Darwin’s natural selection process, thereby extending the life cycle of dim-witted ignorami; thus perpetuating and magnifying the danger to us all, by enabling them to breed and walk amongst us, our children and loved ones.

Agreed, Gento. There's nothing wrong with that business decision.
'Things' just must have not read the whole thread, where it was already explained.

Der Code ist im Kern gleich.
Er wird nur über Compilerswitch bedingt übersetzt.

    Sehr gute Übersetzung @doc
