Will the presentations be in the main auditorium so that we can be working on other stuff too, if necessary?
Also, what is the length of each presentation?

The presentations last year varied in length, and the whole presentation thing in general was rather disorganized. The presentations were held in the auditorium. Speaking of which, will any of the presenters need video?
That's what I heard.. it might be a good idea to allot half-hour or hour time segments for subjects. One hour for in depth training sessions (for example software for those that have it, or crowd scanning training, etc) half hour for software/hardware overview (whoopee look what it can do!). A combined half hour and an hour session would be cool for software the first part overview for everyone, the next part in depth training for users.
In my opinion, the presentations should be held outside of the auditorium. Some folks may not want to sit in on certain presentations, this way they don't have to. For example, if there's an optics cleaning presentation, I'll probably pass. That's what I heard.. it might be a good idea to allot half-hour or hour time segments for subjects.
