    Default CALEM Anyone?

    Hey guys,
    I've been lurking here for a while, but haven't done too much posting.
    I was wondering how many others here were located in California?
    Anyone interested in doing a CALEM?
    I'm located in Los Angeles, but am fine with driving a bit to get to one.
    Thoughts?

    SF would be great! Plus, if we schedule it for a weekend, then we can all go to the swap meet here in Cupertino and come home with a bunch of laser stuff.

    Wow I can't believe how much interest there is WooHoo! First (and of course not the last) CALEM!
    I'm fine with driving up to SF. I've got a bunch of friends who live up there and I really want to visit the headquarters for the company I work for :P.

    Anybody have any date/location ideas? I'll be out of the country until the 1st, but anytime after that would be fine.
    Also, I'll be interested in purchasing some laser gear if any of you want to sell some...

    I'm going to be in Hawaii with my betrothed until the 2nd, and after that I'm busy sporadically with campouts... so we ought to think carefully about the date.

    If we schedule it to conflict with Burning Man we can pick up a venue for cheap :-)
